The Bossier City casino closed its doors back in 2020 due to COVID-19 and its complications. The chairman of the Louisiana Gaming Control Board, Ronnie Johns, has still not seen those plans. The Louisiana Gaming Control Board unanimously approved a resolution to grant DiamondJacks Casino and Resort an extension on its reopening date through February 25. DiamondJacks’ parent company, Peninsula Pacific Entertainment (P2E), will appear before the board on February 17 to present their reopening plans.
